Wondering how much you get paid as a host? we explain it all in this article…
Our hosts are paid weekly, accommodation is calculated nightly and, weeks run from Sunday to Saturday…
Payments are nationally the same and hosts are paid based on the level of service they provide.
Accommodation must include a comfortable bed and linen, hanging space, somewhere to study, sufficient lighting, heating and cooling to ensure your guest is comfortable. The guest will provide their own toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste etc.
Host payments for long term students are processed on Monday night, payments will hit your account within 12-48 hours depending on your bank. Study tours (short term guests 1-6 weeks) are processed on Tuesday night.
On arrival for long term students, standard weekly payments are triggered with a separate adjustment for any odd days, processed manually.
If you have any account queries for a prompt reply, please direct ALL enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org no earlier than Wednesday of each week to allow time for payments to be processed and hit accounts – thank you for your support!
Host payments per week for standard homestay placements.
N.B. Study tour payments are different as they are negotiated independently with the education provider or agent. We will notify of payment rates for each study tour when confirmed.
